Enterprise Acquires Quest Pipeline.

HOUSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 10, 2003

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. (NYSE:EPD) announced that its operating subsidiary Enterprise Products Operating L.P., has purchased Quest Transmission Ltd. and its general partner, Quest Energy Co., for $14.4 million in cash. The effective date of the purchase is March 1, 2003, with Enterprise assuming operations May 1, 2003.

The principal asset of Quest Transmission is a pipeline that transports high-purity isobutane from Mont Belvieu to Port Neches, Texas. The Quest pipeline is a 67-mile, 8-inch pipeline system with a 2.5-mile lateral that serves two primary customers in Port Neches and Port Arthur, Texas. Enterprise has supplied isobutane to this market for nine years.

"This pipeline system is integral to our operations as it serves an important market in Southeast Texas with high-purity isobutane produced from our Mont Belvieu complex," stated O.S. With this transaction, which is immediately accretive to the partnership's cash flow, we are expanding the fee-based services we offer to our customers."
