ANDOVER, Mass. -- Enterasys Networks(R) (NYSE: ETS), the Secure Networks Company(TM), today announced that several of its products have earned additional HiPath Ready Net certifications from Siemens. Enterasys' Matrix N-Series, Matrix E1, Matrix V2 and Matrix C1 switches are the latest to achieve this prestigious certification.

HiPath Ready Net certification reflects rigorous product performance testing for convergence interoperability as well as internetworking testing based on an ISO 9001 process. As part of the companies' ongoing partnership, Siemens' HiPath also has earned Secure Networks Certification from Enterasys. This mutual certification demonstrates how Enterasys and Siemens solutions work together seamlessly to bring the benefits of secure convergence to enterprises worldwide.

Among the enterprises that have deployed secure convergence solutions from Enterasys and Siemens is the Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (DIHK), the moving force in regional initiatives of the German economy. DIHK is the umbrella organization for 81 German Chambers of Industry and Commerce around the world, representing the economic interests of 3.6 million German businesses.
