Concurrently, Ensim announced several management changes. Rosen Sharma, Ensim co-founder and chairman, succeeds Ken Fehrnstrom as chief executive. Ajit Shah, general partner at Worldview Technology Partners, which led the new round, has assumed the role of chairman. Under their leadership, Ensim will use the new funding to support global expansion, strengthen sales and marketing, and further develop Ensims industry-leading technology for hosting infrastructure. In a report released last month by the Aberdeen Group Aberdeen Group is a provider of business-related research services. It has its headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts and belongs to the Harte-Hanks group. Founded in 1988, Aberdeen's research is used by over 2. , in which Ensim was profiled, the market consulting and research firm forecast that the hosting services market will reach $70 billion by 2005.

Optimizing data center infrastructure represents a huge market opportunity that will bring new revenue streams and cost-efficiencies to Internet hosting operations internationally, said Shah. We believe strongly in Ensims potential to meet this rapidly emerging need. Sharma co-founded Ensim in June 1998 with Cornell colleague, S. Keshav. Sharma was an assistant professor of computer science at Cornell University Cornell University, mainly at Ithaca, N.Y.; with land-grant, state, and private support; coeducational; chartered 1865, opened 1868. It was named for Ezra Cornell, who donated $500,000 and a tract of land. With the help of state senator Andrew D. .
