Ensenda, Inc., a same day delivery service company for B2B and B2C retailers, today announced the addition of Phyllis Apelbaum, President of the Messenger Courier Association of the Americas (MCAA) and founder and CEO of Arrow Messenger Service, Inc., and Lowell Peters, a well-respected Service Industry executive, to its Board of Advisors.

The new additions will enhance the strengths of the existing members, including Phil Schlein, partner at USVP, Henry Chiarelli, former president of RadioShack.com, and Seymour Merrin, founder and president of Merrin Information Services and president of the Computer Technology Industry Association (CTIA).

Phyllis Apelbaum

Phyllis Apelbaum is the founder and CEO of Arrow Messenger Service, established in 1974 after serving fourteen years with City Bonded Messenger Service. She is President of the Messenger Courier Association of the Americas (MCAA). A charter member of MCAA, Phyllis has served on the Board as a member, secretary, treasurer, second and first vice-president. For the past four years she has also served as the MCAA convention chair.

Phyllis formerly served as MCAA chair of the Industry Promotion and Public Relations Committee and continues working with the Government and Legal Affairs Committee regarding the resolution of the 62 c issue. Last year MCAA awarded her its highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award.

In addition to her MCAA role, Phyllis is the co-founder of Messenger Service Association of Illinois (MSAI) in Chicago, Illinois, where she helped to organize the Chicago area courier services to work together addressing issues affecting the industry. Phyllis served MSAI as president from 1987 to 1994.

Lowell Peters

Lowell Peters is a Services Industry professional with a career spanning more than 34 years, including 20 years with Sears. During Lowell's tenure at Sears, he served in a number of field and corporate roles including Vice President of Parts and Technical Support.

Respected as an industry visionary, Lowell was instrumental in creating the nation's largest service organization during his tenure as Senior Vice President of Services for Best Buy, the number one Electronics Specialty retailer. While at Best Buy, Lowell built a service organization from the ground up that focused on the rapidly changing requirements necessary to ensure a competitive advantage far into the future. It was designed to serve the customer's growing needs at three touch points: in the stores, in repair shops and for in-home service. He was also responsible for the in-store and in-home installation activities for Best Buy.

Lowell has served as President of National Association of Service Managers (NASM), teaching several service related, and is currently is a member of the Association of Field Service Managers International, an association focused on improving services throughout the world with a strong emphasis on education.
