Enpirion Expands Worldwide Sales and Applications Engineering Coverage; New hires strengthen presence in strategic Asia-Pacific market.

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. -- Enpirion, Inc., the leading provider of integrated power solutions, has strengthened its worldwide presence with significant new staffing moves. Stephen Allen is promoted to Vice President of Sales, Worldwide; Sunny Chow joins as Director of Sales, Asia; and George Hsieh is named Sales Manager for Taiwan.

Stephen Allen joins Enpirion's executive management team with more than 25 years of experience in the electronics industry, primarily in the power conversion market. In his new capacity as V.P. of Sales Worldwide, he will manage Enpirion's extensive sales network in Asia-Pacific, the Americas and EMEA. Mr. Chow and Mr. Hsieh will augment Enpirion's field sales and applications capabilities in Asia, which is a key market for Enpirion's tiny power supply products aimed specifically at high-volume mobile and consumer-based applications where space is at a premium.

Prior to joining Enpirion in 2004, Stephen was the Vice President of Sales Asia for US based Power-One, working from bases in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China. Prior to that he was their Vice President of Sales and Marketing in Europe based out of Uster, Switzerland. Earlier, Stephen held various positions with Swiss-based power supply company Melcher (later acquired by Power-One), including Managing Director North European Sales, and Business Development Manager.

Sunny Chow has extensive experience in Asia, living in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan. He was previously the Director of Sales Asia for AMCC, where he was a significant contributor both to building their business and their successful IPO. Prior to that, Sunny held Director of Sales positions with Mountaingate Data Systems (a Lockheed Company) and Cipher Data. He was also the General Manager for Western Digital Taiwan, which he formed in 1985 and helped grow to more than $100m revenues.

George Hsieh was formerly Director of Technical and Strategic Marketing with Techmosa Taiwan - a major electronic components distributor in Taiwan. Prior to that, he was Director of System Engineering with Arques Technology - a fabless semiconductor company, and also Director of Platform Development SE Asia for power semiconductor company Semtech.
