English company adds Nexgen baler.


Lancashire, England-based 3r Environmental Technology Ltd., the exclusive UK agent for the Marathon Equipment Co. line of balers and compactors, has sold a NexGen Galaxy2R two-ram baler to Pearson's Recycling of Norfolk County Norfolk County is the name of several counties:
  • Norfolk, a county in England
  • Norfolk County, Massachusetts, USA
  • Norfolk County, Ontario, Canada
  • Norfolk County, Virginia, USA (extinct)
  • "Old" Norfolk County, Massachusetts Colony, USA (extinct)
 in eastern England.

3r Sales Director Steve Almond Steve Almond is an American writer. Almond was raised in Palo Alto, California and graduated from Henry M. Gunn High School. He got his undergraduate degree from Wesleyan University. He spent seven years as a newspaper reporter, mostly in El Paso and at the Miami New Times.  says, "This is a very significant step forward for 3r Environmental Technology. We are delighted to work with Pearson's Recycling and to introduce the first Galaxy2R into the UK."

He adds, "This agreement is also an excellent opportunity to build on our relationship with Marathon and introduce more of their world leading products to the UK market."
