"We recently decided to expand the use of iSIGHT-FD in our department, and move away from other competitive solutions," said Geoffrey Cunningham, professor at the School of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering Queen's University Belfast. "Our research is primarily focused in the automotive and aerospace industries where Engineous is the clear market leader. If students are able to enter the job market with the ability to use industry standard tools like iSIGHT-FD they make themselves more marketable. Engineous' outstanding service and support along with their software gives our students the skills they need to be successful."

"The application of our tools spans a broad range of technical disciplines within the universities," said Jeff Bond, Engineous Software's Lead Trainer and champion of the university program. "Academic users are able to easily integrate their specific tools into a single workflow, and then explore their designs using techniques like optimization, DOE and DFSS techniques."

Universities interested in participating in the program can contact Jeff Bond at 919-677-6700. Participating Academic Institutions are required under the license agreement to provide an outline of their course work and/or thesis research.
