Engineering firms participate in European Trade Fairs, Export Training.

ISLAMABAD, November 11, 2009 (Balochistan Times ): A large number of Pakistani engineering sub-contracting companies are participating in the EXPRO-84, Export training programme, of CBI, Rotterdam, Holland, according to a message received here today. Most companies participating are specialists in casting, forging, gear making, plastic parts and sheet metal fabrication. Earlier, through its external experts, the CBI had guided these Pakistani companies on skills needed for becoming successful exporters. Through e-learning courses, the CBI helped them to create export marketing plans, product adaptation for exports and then brought them to the Netherlands for the EXPRO training which will be followed by the participants actually displaying their products at the famous subcontracting show in Paris, MIDEST 2009, which starts from November 16. Participants shall display their products at the specially organised CBI stand at MIDEST, under guidance of CBI Experts. Pakistani participants are attending the CBI Program under guidance of CBI External Expert, Imtiaz Rastgar. In spite of the adverse economic conditions, the engineering sector SMEs of Pakistan are continuing their efforts for promotion of exports, Currently there is a large delegation of Autoparts and tractor component manufacturers of Pakistan, attending the Agritechnika 2009, At Hannover, Germany. The AGRITECHNIKA is Europes largest trade fair for agricultural and garden machinery where the Pakistani manufacturers of tractor parts are finding ready buyers and meeting good success.
