Engineering firm doubles its capacity.


Newburgh Newburgh (n`bərg, ny`–), city (1990 pop. 26,454), Orange co., SE N.Y.  Engineering has revealed its ambitious expansion plans, which includes the construction of a 35,000 sq ft production facility adjacent to its existing plant on Bessemer Way.

The 79-year-old company, which expanded into Rotherham three years ago, has outgrown its existing premises and the extended plant will enable the company to double its production capabilities.

Newburgh Engineering, which is a specialist contract manufacturer of component parts and assemblies, was successful in securing European European

 Funding to assist with the construction costs of the new building, which is due for completion in October.

Vincent Middleton, managing director of Newburgh Engineering, said: "This is a really exciting time for our business. We recognized several months ago that we would soon outgrow outgrow verb To change the relationship with a condition or structure by dint of ↑ age or size; while children outgrow clothing, and certain behaviors, they rarely outgrow diseases–eg, asthma  our existing premises and so the new production facility is vital to support our continued growth and expansion. The new purpose-built premises will enable us to strengthen our position as one of the leading high precision engineering businesses in the UK. We expect to create many new jobs over the coming months and the factory expansion will enable us to do this as well as to provide our customers with an even more responsive service."

The building has been designed by Bond Bryan Architects and construction is being carried out by JF Finnegan, both from Sheffield
