The Harvest Eagle system consists of two power units with an integrated primary distribution center, operator remote terminals, primary switching centers, secondary distribution centers, power distribution panels, remote area lighting systems, cable reel pallet assemblies, secondary and primary cables and an external fuel system.

To date, Radian has received orders totaling $132.5 million under the 10-year DPGDS contract since commencing the estimated $300 million production phase of the program approximately two years ago. Production work under this order will be performed by other Engineered Support manufacturing locations as well as by certain outside subcontractors in order to meet the required delivery schedule of April 2004.

. This order will support the U.S. Air Force's bare base operations. The 920-kW DPGDS is a joint U.S. Army and Air Force program designed as a replacement for existing 750-kW sets that incorporate outdated technology, are inefficient and require excessive maintenance. In contrast, the DPGDS power units have high power density, are 25% lighter and 15% more fuel efficient, and possess increased reliability and maintainability.
