EngineX Networks Adds Business Development and Marketing Employees, Opens New Sales Office as Growth Continues.

RICHARDSON, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 10, 2001

Further sales offices and staff will be added as EngineX continues to grow, said Scott A. Lingren, the company's vice president of sales and marketing.

EngineX designs and implements all types of public networks, including optical, packet and wireless, for service providers, hardware vendors and software companies. By hiring EngineX, telecommunications service providers can get their networks operating more quickly and cost-effectively, which results in more satisfied customers and immediate revenues, the company said. EngineX also provides operational support for introducing new products or services to the market as well as complete third-party customer support.

In his career, Rambo has also held a number of manager and director positions with Southwestern Bell

William Burnett is EngineX's new executive solutions consultant, joining the company from Telcordia where he was an executive solution architect for seven years. Burnett brings more than 27 years of telecommunications experience to this sales engineering position.

Gerry Nichols, EngineX's new Southeast business development manager, was most recently director of business development for the Eastern United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  for Clearwire Technologies, Inc. He has been in the telecommunications field for 13 years.

Jimmy Curtin, EngineX's new South Central business development manager, joins EngineX from Granite Systems, Inc., where he was senior manager of major accounts sales. He has more than 28 years of sales and marketing experience in telecommunications.

Mario Guillen, the company's new North Central business development manager, comes to EngineX with 22 years of experience in telecommunications. Most recently, Guillen was with Fujitsu Network Services, where he was business manager, responsible for sales and strategic planning Strategic planning is an organization's process of defining its strategy, or direction, and making decisions on allocating its resources to pursue this strategy, including its capital and people. .

Robert Dowd is EngineX's new Northeast business development manager and is based in the company's recently opened Baltimore office. With 25 years of experience in telecommunications, Dowd comes to the company from Cidera, Inc., a marketer of Internet broadcast services. There, he was director of sales for broadcast data services.
