Engine Factory Donates Small Block Chevy V8 to Be Sold for Charity at Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Auction; All Proceeds of 450HP Small Block Chevy to Benefit Darrell Gwynn Foundation.


PALM BEACH, Fla. -- The Barrett-Jackson Auction Company will auction a 450 horsepower small block Chevy 383 stroker V8 donated for charity by the Engine Factory during the fourth annual Barrett-Jackson Palm Beach Collector Car Event. The engine will be sold at No Reserve at approximately 2:45 p.m. EST on Saturday April 1, 2006, Lot # 5000.1. Proceeds from the engine sale will be donated to the Darrell Gwynn Foundation. The fourth annual automotive lifestyle event at the South Florida Expo Center will include three days of No Reserve auction excitement from Thursday, March 30 through Saturday, April 1; SPEED will broadcast the event again this year.
