 Deployment Solutions Program. The use of lead in electronics products has been considered an environmental issue and is being phased out in various parts of the world.

The elimination of lead in electronic products will require new materials and processes to be put into use. Engent will partner with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), electronics manufacturing services Electronic manufacturing services (EMS) is term used for companies that design, test, manufacture, distribute and provide return/repair services for electronic component and assemblies for original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).  (EMS) providers and materials suppliers to study the properties and processing of new, lead-free materials and deliver a solution to the emerging lead-free mandates.

Engent's program defines a complete lead-free process--including design considerations, solder paste Solder paste (or solder cream) is a mix of small solder particles and flux.
