Enforsys Secures $12.5 Million.

ROSELAND, N.J. -- Enforsys, Inc, a leading developer of public safety software for first responders, today announced that it has received $12.5 million in financing from HSH Nordbank.

The funding is intended to support the expansion of Enforsys' Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), Records Management Software (RMS) and information sharing solutions nationally and internationally. It will also allow the company to continue to pursue strategic acquisitions and/or mergers that enhance its overall growth and capabilities.

While information sharing has become a critical component for the law enforcement industry post-9/11, a key obstacle has been connecting the myriad of incompatible systems in various agencies on the federal, state, county and local levels. Enforsys has solved this problem by developing a technology that can interpret data from a variety of sources and consolidate it onto one platform to provide unprecedented flexibility in information sharing, enabling collaboration across multiple agencies, regardless of the specific systems used.

Dramatic Growth

Over the past 12 months, Enforsys has strengthened its market leadership through the acquisition of Desk Sergeant and Munipol, two respected CAD and RMS companies, as well as Emergency Software Products, Inc., a maker of records management software for fire, EMS, rescue and hazardous material agencies.

Additionally, Enforsys was recently selected to implement a groundbreaking multi-million dollar initiative to tie together the disparate information management systems of local law enforcement agencies in New Jersey. This initiative is employing mobile data terminals to link police departments, the county sheriff, as well as the prosecutor and emergency management agencies in Morris County. Part of a six-county Urban Area Security Initiative, the program was set up by the federal government to coordinate regional response to acts of terrorism.
