Enfocus Software celebrates a string of successes at the Internet and Print publishing industries' important Seybold Seminars Boston conference; beginning with a $1.2 million investment, the release of two new products, and the announcement that the company's new PitStop 4.0 solution has received a prestigious Seybold "Hot Pick".

Enfocus, publisher of the No. 1 PDF and PostScript production tools for Internet and Print publishing; last week announced the $1.2 million investment made by a consortium of three venture capital companies in exchange for newly-issued shares in the company. The newly acquired funding will enable the privately owned Enfocus to accelerate its product development and worldwide marketing plans in the next nine to twelve months.

CEO Peter Camps says the funding enables Enfocus to better support customer needs for both Internet and Print PDF applications. "PDF is the second-most popular page format on the Internet," Camps says, "and now, with powerful new tools working with Adobe's newest Acrobat and InDesign solutions, we can help the growing millions who are creating and using PDF for the Internet and Print."

The three venture capital companies involved in the funding are Capricorn Venture Partners n.v., Leuven, Belgium, represented by Mr. Jos B.
