Pillsbury Winthrop LLP, one of the country's largest law firms, will soon begin deploying Enfish Professional for Workgroups as a cornerstone to the firm's Relationship Manager, its new advanced client relationship management system.

A product from Enfish Corporation, Enfish Professional for Workgroups enables lawyers to securely display relevant relationship data, including documents, e-mail, and other information regardless of where the data is stored.

Relationship Manager (RM) was developed by Pillsbury Winthrop as part of an effort to create next generation client service technologies. When the phased rollout is completed in September 2002, Pillsbury Winthrop attorneys will have a single point of access to every piece of information about the people, companies and matters with which the firm works.

Enfish Professional for Workgroups has a default ability to find, index and put into context all information in Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, the Internet, and local or networked drives, including documents, e-mail, contacts, and appointments. Enfish Professional for Workgroups was customized for Pillsbury Winthrop to integrate with the web component of the firm's Relationship Manager, as well as its knowledge management portal called "Universe."

As part of its selection criteria, Pillsbury Winthrop selected Enfish Professional for Workgroups due to its ability to put contact information in context with related documents. Each time a contact is created or updated, Enfish Professional indexes all information related to that contact. Typing the name or company of the contact in the Enfish "GoTo" bar retrieves the contact record and messages, appointments, documents, web news about the contact, and puts this information into context with related information for Pillsbury Winthrop's Relationship Manager.
