Enfish Announces "Alliance" Program to Encourage Bundling its Unique Enfish Tracker Software for and by Information Publishers.

PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 19, 1998--Enfish Technology, Inc. announces an "Alliance" program that will allow selected vendors to bundle special versions of its innovative Enfish(R) Tracker Pro software, the world's first information tracker, with one or more of their own products. The retail release of Enfish Tracker Pro is available (November 1, 1998) for $79.95 (all prices suggested US resale at participating resellers).

The Enfish Alliance program will provide partner-specific customization. This might include valuable content, multiple resource tie-ins for information content providers, for example, including traditional and electronic news, feature or entertainment publishers and broadcasters. Other examples include investment-related services, shopping and consumer information services, government operations, industrial organizations and many more.

Enfish Tracker Pro is a new way to find and keep track of where you saw "whatchamacallit", an innovative software application that constantly and automatically maintains an index and cross-reference of the information contents of the pages a user sees or works with. It brings the power of data mining to the realm of the desktop. It treats word processing documents, Web pages, sent or received e-mail, spreadsheets and other application works equally, whether they're across the Internet, in Intranet or LAN (local area network, server or peer) connected computers or on a PC's own hard drives. To keep its catalog current, a full-time agent monitors computer work as it happens; this is a small program that metaphorically sits on your shoulder and reads along as you work. An after-hours "valet" utility keeps Enfish Tracker Pro current on changes, additions or deletions to the information it's been assigned to track.

Enfish Tracker Pro requires a computer powered by an Intel Pentium(R) or compatible CPU, preferably at 1666MHz or faster, and the Microsoft Windows(R) 95, 98 or NT(R) 4.0 environment. The system should have at least 16 MB RAM (32 MB recommended, 64MB optimal), a hard drive with at least 50-MB free disk space (on typical 1GB drive), and a VGA or better display in at least a 256-color mode. Certain features are enhanced by an Internet connection, which is recommended.
