Enesco Group, Inc. Continues To Seek Long-Term Debt Financing.

ITASCA, Ill. -- Enesco Group, Inc., a leader in the giftware, and home and garden decor industries, today announced the Company is continuing to aggressively pursue long-term debt financing. Enesco previously had agreed to obtain a commitment for long-term financing by August 7, 2006. Because Enesco has not obtained a commitment, the Company is in default of its current credit facility agreement. The Company is working with the lenders for possible additional loans or terms and conditions, but has been advised that the lenders are not committing to waive the default.
