EnergySolutions to Implement PipelineTransporter at Freeport LNG Terminal.


HOUSTON -- Energy Solutions International, Inc., the Houston-based leading global supplier of oil and gas pipeline management software, today announced that Freeport LNG LNG (liquefied natural gas): see under natural gas.  Development, L.P., (FLNG FLNG Floating Liquefied Natural Gas ) has selected its PipelineTransporter-Gas(R) application to manage gas redelivery nominations at the Freeport liquefied natural gas liquefied natural gas: see under natural gas.
Liquefied natural gas (LNG)

A product of natural gas which consists primarily of methane. Its properties are those of liquid methane, slightly modified by minor constituents.
 (LNG) terminal, now under construction on Quintana Island outside Freeport, Texas.

Through the Quintana LNG terminal, FLNG customers will be able to receive LNG shipments from around the world and supply natural gas to industrial and electric power generation markets from Freeport to the Houston Ship Channel The Houston Ship Channel in Houston, Texas is part of the Port of Houston—one of the United States's busiest sea ports. The channel is a conduit between the continental interior and the Gulf of Mexico for both petrochemical products and Midwestern grain. , and beyond. Start-up of the first phase of the terminal is planned for early 2008. EnergySolutions will deploy PipelineTransporter-Gas in July 2007 to assist in the commissioning stages.

PipelineTransporter-Gas is a web- and Windows(R)-based data management system utilized to administer pipeline nominations, scheduling and allocations. The system contains a contract repository for all transporter and shipper agreements, enables third-party customers to nominate gas via the website, provides for balancing of pipeline schedules, certifies actual measurement data versus scheduled transactions, consolidates and allocates actual volume to a customer level, and generates both industry standard and customized reports related to business transactions.
