iX-Earth iX-1282 and iX-2216 servers are powered by dual Intel 64-bit Xeon quad- or dual-core processors with 1,600/1,333/1,066 MHz FSB. Model iX-1282 offers up to eight cores, 64-GB max low-voltage RAM, and eight hot-swap 2.5" SAS/SATA hard-disk drive bays, while the iX-2216 incorporates up to eight cores, 128-GB RAM and 16 harddisk drive bays. The chassis is equipped with a redundant 900W high-efficiency (85+ percent) redundant power supply.--iXsystems
