Energy for healing.

Energy work, energy practitioner, energy healing, what do these terms mean, anyway? Well, here's what I think they mean.

Albert Einstein teaches us in his quantum physics quantum physics
n. (used with a sing. verb)
The branch of physics that uses quantum theory to describe and predict the properties of a physical system.

at different frequencies. That means everything in our world, from light, which vibrates at a really high frequency, to the really low vibration of a rock. It is similar to the familiar principle that explains how water, with the added factor, temperature, can exist in three forms: steam, water and ice. When the temperature changes, so does the vibrational frequency of the molecules, allowing the different forms to exist.

Everything known to us, including us, exists within a huge field of energy. Our bodies are made of energy vibrating at a rather slow rate, surrounded by a field of energy that vibrates at increasingly faster rates as it extends farther from the body.

The faster vibrating energy around us has been called by some an aura. We have known about auras forever, because certain people have been able to perceive them, forever. Centuries old paintings of Jesus, Saints and High Holy people of other cultures were often drawn with their auras (halos) made visible. Today, through the methods of Kirlian photography Kirlian photography,
n.pr technique named after Seymon Kirlian, which involves photographing subjects in a high-frequency, low-amperage electrical field, which display bright emanations usually around the fingers or toes.
, we can clearly see auras and their colors surrounding the object photographed. Today, there are still people who can perceive auras without assistance.

We have also known how to use energy, to improve, if not heal, our health and well being, forever. Jesus is the one we in the West think of first. But through the centuries, before and after Jesus, there have been avatars, medicine men, shamans, many woman (who were burned at the stake), and others who could work with energy to improve our life experience. Currently, and world wide, there seems to be a growing number of people drawn to work with this energy Einstein brought to our conscious awareness; energy that has always been and forever will be. This brief discussion on energy attempts to convey a meaning of the word energy used in the terms, energy practitioner, energy worker, healer healer Mainstream medicine A romantic synonym for physician. See Traditional healing. , or reiki Reiki Definition

Reiki is a form of therapy that uses simple hands-on, no-touch, and visualization techniques, with the goal of improving the flow of life energy in a person.
.

People who work with energy have learned to interact with he energy field of others in such a way that the client's quality of life is very often significantly improved. There are as many ways to work with energy, as there are people who do it. And both the client and the practitioner will speak of their experiences differently. It is a very subjective experience. If the energy worker is legitimate the client will feel results. I am of the opinion that energy work should not be thought of as a replacement for medical treatment, but as a preventive or supportive measure. When a malfunction mal·func·tion

has appeared in the physical form, the body can benefit from both types of treatment.

I am also of the opinion that improvements occurring after an energy treatment are not miracles. They are the result of deeply and mutually held intentions or prayers for the outcome of the session by the client and energy worker, the ability of the client to receive the energy and the ability of the energy worker to influence energy. I believe, together, these three factors can effect a positive change or the client.
