California Chapter Vice President LeAndra MacDonald stated: "Many energy organizations have an office or presence in California even though they may be headquartered elsewhere. Participating in the local AESP Chapter is a great way to keep your organization well informed about the ongoing activities within this market." The year 2004 has been an exciting one for the Association. AESP International is organizing and managing one of the industry's largest conferences and trade shows, the 15th National Energy Services Conference and Exposition exposition or exhibition, term frequently applied to an organized public fair or display of industrial and artistic productions, designed usually to promote trade and to reflect cultural progress. , December 6-8, 2004 in Clearwater, Florida Clearwater is a city located in central Pinellas County, Florida, USA, nearly due west of Tampa. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 108,787; however, according to the 2005 U.S. Census Bureau's estimates, the city's population fell slightly to 108,687. . AESP's highly successful "Brown Bag Seminars", a series of telephone and web-based workshops dealing with important topics in the energy services industry, continues to be a well-received source of technical information and market updates for the industry. AESP's monthly newsletter, Strategies, has been updated with a new look, and expanded with new features to capture the perspectives of these changing times.

"These two new Chapters help carry out AESP's ongoing commitment to our membership," said Elliot Boardman, Executive Director of the Association. "One of our goals over the past two years has been to expand our local support to our membership. We have added four new local Chapters in the past 18 months. While AESP remains an international organization, we are pleased to have our members gather together when geographic proximity allows. Providing new information, sharing best practices, and providing mentoring and support for energy service professionals - that's what AESP is all about."
