He will be responsible for the strategic direction and implementation of the Company's human resource management plans and programs for USEC's approximately 2,700 employees. Wright brings over 30 years of experience in human resources, working closely with boards of directors, company officers and employees in helping to achieve company goals.

Immediately prior to joining USEC, Wright was a vice president and principal at Boyden Global Executive Search, an executive search firm. Previously, he was director of human resources at Mobil Oil (now ExxonMobil Corporation) Europe, with offices in London and Brussels. While at Mobil he was responsible for HR operations involving 3,000 employees in 30 countries, and he played an instrumental role in developing the HR policies and procedures Policies and Procedures are a set of documents that describe an organization's policies for operation and the procedures necessary to fulfill the policies. They are often initiated because of some external requirement, such as environmental compliance or other governmental  for the merger of Mobil and Exxon internationally.

Before joining Mobil, Wright held several HR positions of increasing responsibility at the Arabian American Oil Company (ARAMCO) in Saudi Arabia and the Netherlands. Early in his career, Wright was a pension and employee benefit plan specialist with TIAA-CREF TIAA-CREF Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association - College Retirement Equities Fund , and an employee benefits consultant with Johnson & Higgins.

Wright earned his B.S. degree in political science from Eastern Michigan University Eastern Michigan University, mainly at Ypsilanti, Mich.; coeducational; founded 1849 as a normal school, became Eastern Michigan College in 1956, gained university status in 1959.  and his M.S. degree in industrial relations and personnel management from the London School of Economics and Political Science London School of Economics and Political Science, at London, England; founded 1895, recognized as a school of the Univ. of London (see London, Univ. of) in 1900. .
