Energiedirect achieves one of "fastest ever" certifications to enter

competitive Dutch residential energy market

Energiedirect, a subsidiary of Essent NV, the largest electricity, gas, cable, and waste processing company in the Netherlands, has signed an agreement to deploy Excelergy Revenue Manager(TM) for rapid entry into the competitive Dutch residential electricity and natural gas markets. Excelergy Revenue Manager will handle billing, revenues, customer care, collaborative communications and information exchange for Energiedirect, which will offer electricity and--as of January 2004--natural gas to residential Dutch customers.
