Leading consumer software company Encore Software Inc. today announced that it has signed a five-year software publishing and distribution agreement with Creature Labs Creature Labs (originally named Cyberlife Ltd.) was a company based in Cambridge, England which was set up to develop the artificial life technology created by Steve Grand. (R) to produce and sell its highly popular Creatures(R) line in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. .

The deal will provide Encore Software bundling rights to the original series and rights to publish a new installment to the Creatures Village line of products for younger kids, Creatures Playground(R).
