 production facility on a 58,000 square meter site in north central Slovakia near the town of Martin. The new plant will consolidate low-volume production from facilities in Kilmarnock, Scotland, where GGB formerly shared production space with Dana Corporation, and Dolny Kubin, Slovakia, which will be closed upon completion of the new facility. The facility is scheduled to start production by the end of the year, and will employ approximately 200 people. GGB also operates plants in Heilbronn, Germany; Annecy and Dieuze, France; Barueri, Brazil; and Thorofare, N.J., U.S.A.

Initially the plant will produce GGB's metal-polymer plain bearings.
