EMPRESAS CAROZZI, a Chilean food company, bought for US$27.9 million all assets controlled by Compania Molinera San Cristobal San Cris·tó·bal

A city of extreme western Venezuela in a mountainous region near the Colombian border south-southwest of Maracaibo. Founded in 1561, it was severely damaged by an earthquake in 1875. Population: 298,000. , another Chilean food company. Carozzi also took on $4.4 million of San Cristobal's debt.
