Who may attend?

Any childbirth educator, certified or still studying, whether a member of ALACE or other organizations. CEU's are available (please call for more information.)

How long does it last?

Friday night 7-10 pm, Saturday 9am-6pm

How much does it cost?

$125 for ALACE members; $140 for non-members Sponsors attend for no charge

Is the workshop required for certification?

No. In order to make Childbirth Educator certification available to everyone regardless of location or ability to travel, ALACE offers full certification through our home-study course. This workshop is designed to complement that course.

We highly recommend that ALACE childbirth educators take advantage of this unique and dynamic workshop. This program is a valuable opportunity to experience live presentations and discussions that cannot be obtained through the written word. Also, participants may form supportive local networks with fellow educators.

What are the sponsor's responsibilities?

Please note that we schedule workshops based on geographic region, workshop schedules, and the potential sponsor's experience and commitment; we are not able to accept every sponsor proposal we receive.
