Empirix, Audium partner on VXML IVR applications.


Empirix, a provider of testing and monitoring solutions for next-generation networks, contact centers and Web-based applications, and packaged VoiceXML application software provider Audium have both announced a partnership designed to help enterprises develop and deploy more reliable VXML See VoiceXML.  IVR (Interactive Voice Response) An automated telephone information system that speaks to the caller with a combination of fixed voice menus and data extracted from databases in real time.  applications.

The companies are launching integrated testing and management solutions for VXML platforms and applications.

The initial deliverable of this partnership is a solution designed to ensure the quality of Cisco Customer Voice Portal An interactive voice response (IVR) front end to a data retrieval system. This does not differ in core technology from traditional IVR; rather, the difference is in the application presented.
