Emphasize accountability in nursing home cases.


In a nursing home case, jurors will be looking to see if the plaintiff and his or her family acted irresponsibly in any way. Contrasting your client's personal responsibility against the nursing home's accountability will increase your chances of overcoming juror juror n. any person who actually serves on a jury. Lists of potential jurors are chosen from various sources such as registered voters, automobile registration or telephone directories.  bias.

You can show that family members acted responsibly by emphasizing, for example, that they investigated the facility before placing their loved one there and visited him or her on a regular basis. Also demonstrate to jurors that the family voiced concerns to the nursing home staff and, if appropriate, removed the plaintiff from the facility.

Stress that the family relied on assurances by the staff that their loved one would be well taken care of--especially if he or she could not articulate problems and concerns.
