Emirates forms partnership with GlobalCollect to expand online payment options.

Dubai-based airline Emirates has entered into a strategic partnership with GlobalCollect, a payment service provider for local e-payments.

The airline is implementing GlobalCollect's payment processing service to provide alternative payment options for bookings on its website at http://www.emirates.com.

Customers can now choose to pay using a range of alternative payment methods hosted by GlobalCollect, including local credit and debit cards, local bank transfers, real time bank transfers, cash (Western Union Quick Pay), direct debits and eWallets (PayPal). In the future further countries and payment products will be added.
