Emily Labaire Danahy.WEST BOYLSTON Emily Labaire Danahy, 79, of Hallandale Beach, Florida, formerly of Worcester and West Boylston, died Tuesday, January 16, 2007, in Aventura Hospital in Aventura, Florida. Emily is survived by her sister, Phyllis DePari of Worcester; her sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Arthur Smith of West Boylston; her sister-in-law, MaryAn Labaire of Worcester; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Ralph, Robert, Wallace and William Labaire, and her sisters, Catherine Labaire and Mary Thomas. Emily was born in Worcester, daughter of Wallace and Catherine (Cronin) Labaire, and attended Worcester public schools. She was the cash department office manager for Stop & Shop Markets, where she worked 39 years in Worcester and later Westborough. After moving to Florida, she was a clerk at the Hallandale Beach City Hall for many years. The funeral will be held on Saturday, January 20 with a Mass at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 111 Worcester St., West Boylston. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours at the Athy Memorial Home, 111 Lancaster St., Worcester, are Friday, January 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham 01701.
