YAKIMA, Wash. - The Eugene Emeralds The Eugene Emeralds (nicknamed the Ems) are a minor league baseball team in Eugene, Oregon, United States. They are a Class A team in the Northwest League, and have been a farm team of the San Diego Padres since 2001.  dug themselves out of a deep hole early by taking advantage of sloppy field play by Yakima in an 11-7 victory Sunday in Northwest League The Northwest League is a class A minor league. The Emeralds broke the 6-6 tie in the seventh, with a four-run outburst thanks to Yakima miscues.

Epping started the inning by reaching on an error. Tom King brought him home with a double to left.

After Antonelli and Cooper milked back-to-back walks to load the bases, Ross Stout uncorked a wild pitch to bring in King.

Huffman walked to load the bases again, and reliever Reid Mahon threw a wild pitch to score Antonelli.
