Emco Announces Acquisition Of US-Based Master Distributor.

LONDON, ONTARIO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 30, 1997--Emco Limited (TSE, ME: EML., NASDAQ: EMLTF. ) Emco Limited announced today the acquisition of Atlanta, Georgia based Pro-Fit Piping Components, Inc. Pro-Fit, with annual sales of over $45 million (US) is one of the largest master distributors of industrial carbon steel flanges and butt-weld fittings in the US. The company has a highly diversified customer base, with distribution centres in Georgia, New Jersey, Texas and California. The cash purchase price was not disclosed.
