Emarat Looks At Options To Bring CNG To Dubai.

Emarat, Air BP and Shell Trading Private Ltd launched the $43m Emdad Aviation Fuel Storage (Emdad), in which the three partners have equal stakes. Minister Hamili on Nov. 23 officially inaugurated both facilities. Rashid al-Shamsi, general manager of Emarat and chairman of Emoil, said the storage facility will have a significant impact on the local petroleum industry, adding: "The facility will be used for both blending and storing gasoline products to meet Emarat's own requirements for high quality gasoline as well as supplying local and regional markets".

Construction of Emoil started in July 2004, and finished in June this year. The new facilities will have access to three oil berths in Jebel Ali port and pipelines.
