Long-term disabilityEmail Systems, an email systems specialist, has launched a third version of its suite of services. In addition to services such as anti-spam and anti-virus management along with archiving and image scanning of e-mail, the new release includes a number of services that have been integrated into the overall management package. Anti-DoS, is a new service which will monitor for distributed denial of service A condition in which a system can no longer respond to normal requests. See denial of service attack. and directory harvest attacks on corporate networks. It monitors for DDoS activity and cuts off the route to the client network without reduction in bandwidth capacity or service levels. The company has also unveiled Transport Layer Security Encryption, allowing all e-mail traffic to be fully encrypted when sent between two Email Systems clients. For mail sent from a third party, the e-mail is routinely encrypted between the company's data centres and the client network, to provide an added layer of security. The new Proactive Security Monitor delivers updates on additional security information and users are able to monitor the effectiveness of their corporate firewall and constantly check their DNS records through a web-based interface. The new system also enables full Integration with Microsoft Exchange Server Microsoft Exchange Server is a messaging and collaborative software product developed by Microsoft. It is part of the Microsoft Servers line of server products and is widely used by enterprises using Microsoft infrastructure solutions. . No pricing details were revealed.
