ELTA FANS has appointed David Osgerby 01384 275800 as its new Managing Director.

The appointment of David follows a long period of strong growth in sales and profits, a fact that has allowed it to continue to invest in new products, in equipment to improve quality and responsiveness, in inventory to ensure first class levels of customer service and in its people, who make it all happen.

David has a vast experience of modern manufacturing, engineering and change management. David is a Chartered Engineer, a Fellow of the Institute of Manufacturing Management, a Member of the Chartered Management Institute, a Member of the Institution of Engineering & Technology and an Associate of the Chartered Quality Institute.

Since joining Elta, David has appreciated the great strength of its people and he is looking forward to taking the team with him to meet the challenge ahead of continuing the company's record of growth through its next phase. He sees his role in Elta Group supporting the Group Management Team on strategy and operational matters, and as the MD of Elta Fans he is aiming to put in place the capability to at least double the size of the business. He comments "this will mean maintaining a clear customer focus and competing with the best players in the industry globally by introducing systematic continuous improvement via a lean manufacturing change, total quality and a process management approach to new product development, whilst growing distribution from an already sound base".
