Elsevier launches new journals and engineering info service.


Elsevier (Philadelphia, PA) has begun the publication of two new journals, including Alzheimer's & Dementia: The Journal of the Alzheimer's Association The Alzheimer's Association, incorportated on April 10, 1980 as the Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders Association, Inc., is a non-profit American voluntary health organization which focuses on care, support and research for Alzheimer's disease.  and Photodiagnosis & Photodynamic Therapy photodynamic therapy

The premier issue of Alzheimer's & Dementia was distributed at an Alzheimer's Association conference held in Washington, D.C. June 18-21. Editorial features information on advances from every field involved in the research and clinical care of dementia, including such topics as molecular biology molecular biology, scientific study of the molecular basis of life processes, including cellular respiration, excretion, and reproduction. The term molecular biology was coined in 1938 by Warren Weaver, then director of the natural sciences program at the Rockefeller , drug and non-drug therapies, and the psycho-social aspects of care. Each issue of the magazine will also include reviews, expert commentary, editorials and topic focuses. A subscription price has not been set.
