Elsam to License Caminus' Zai*Net Manager & Risk Analytics; Contract Award Represents Caminus' First Nord Pool Client in Serving the Nordic Power Market.

Caminus Corporation (Nasdaq: CAMZ), a leading provider of software solutions and strategic consulting services to participants in the competitive energy markets throughout North America and Europe, today announced that it has licensed its Zai*Net Manager & Risk Analytics to Elsam A/S of Denmark. Elsam is largest power producer in Denmark and a player on the Nordic Power Exchange (Nord Pool), the world's first international commodity exchange for electrical power.

Caminus' Zai*Net Manager & Risk Analytics will provide Elsam with complete power, gas, financial, coal, risk management, scheduling and operations software solutions. The license represents Caminus' first Nord Pool customer, and the first European customer to utilize its Zai*Net Options Model client and Physical Scheduling client. Providing a total risk management solution for its diverse power portfolio, Caminus is assisting Elsam mitigate risk as it expands its growing European operations.
