Prior to joining BR, Ms. DeSanctis served as Manager of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications with Vastar Resources until the recent completion of its merger with BP. Ms. DeSanctis began her career as a production engineer with Shell Oil Company in 1978 and joined ARCO in 1987, where she held a series of management positions in operations and finance. In 1995 Ms. DeSanctis became Manager of Business Analysis with the newly created Vastar Resources after it was spun off from ARCO and served in this position until becoming Vastar's Manager of Investor Relations and Corporate Communications. Ms. DeSanctis holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geological and Geophysical Sciences from Princeton University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of California, Los Angeles UCLA comprises the College of Letters and Science (the primary undergraduate college), seven professional schools, and five professional Health Science schools.
