 and Protective Order of Elks' Springfield Lodge is planning a full day and night of events on Satur- day.

Never needing a good reason to have a party, this is in celebration of 7-7-2007.

Events start at 9 a.m. with a chili cookoff A “chili cookoff'” is a social event, similar to a barbecue, in which competitors prepare their own particular recipe for chili con carne and submit it for taste testing.  and continue with a line dancing line dancing

Western dress is preferred but not required.
