Elizabeth takes on ...

Gay TV network Here bills Birch & Company, its first political talk show, as a chance for "the home team to frame the debate." And former Human Rights Campaign head Elizabeth Birch (below) does just that, talking politics, religion, and gay rights with an eclectic lineup of guests, so far including Rosie O'Donnell and Pat Buchanan. About her surprisingly well-mannered See well-behaved. conversation with Buchanan, Birch tells Buzz, "The heat I'll take in the gay press is that I didn't sock him. I wanted him to open up ... it's a balance." Look for Al Gore, Melissa Etheridge, and Ann Coulter to take the (not too) hot seat in upcoming episodes.
