Eleven German Cities Host Events for Washington, DC Technology Companies.


Invest in Germany Germany (jûr`mənē), Ger. Deutschland, officially Federal Republic of Germany, republic (2005 est. pop. 82,431,000), 137,699 sq mi (356,733 sq km). :
WHAT:           German Centers of Excellence will host their fifth
                annual Forum for Business Success in Germany, visiting
                Washington, DC May 10 to host two events promoting
                Germany's major metropolitan areas as Europe's most
                innovative business and technology clusters.

WHO:            German Centers of Excellence is a joint initiative of
                Invest in Germany, Germany's federal business
                promotion agency, and representatives of Germany's
                largest cities. German technology centers
                participating in the mission include: Berlin, Cologne,
                Dresden, Dusseldorf, Essen, Frankfurt, Hamburg,
                Hanover, Munich, Nuremberg and Stuttgart.
                Additionally, executives from Motorola, Accenture,
                Toll Collect GmbH, and T-Systems Multimedia Solutions
                GmbH will be on hand to offer invaluable first-hand
                insight on how to be successful in Germany.

WHY:            The initiative offers information on business
                opportunities in Germany, particularly in the ICT
                sector, and aims to create new business relationships
                between Germany's primary business and technology
                centers and similar innovative technology clusters in
                North America. The events enable executives to network
                with influential German business leaders and explore
                market opportunities in Germany.
