Eleven Business Communicators in Arizona Honored For Outstanding Work.


SCOTTSDALE Scottsdale, city (1990 pop. 130,069), Maricopa co., central Ariz.; settled in 1895 by Winfield Scott, inc. 1951. It is a resort and retirement center in the Phoenix metropolitan area. , Ariz. -- Eleven professional business communicators and organizations working in Arizona Arizona (âr'əzō`nə), state in the southwestern United States. It is bordered by Utah (N), New Mexico (E), Mexico (S), and, across the Colorado R., Nevada and California (W).  won 13 awards for outstanding communications efforts during the past year in a competition judged by their peers.

The winning contestants in a regional competition sponsored by District 5 of the International Association of Business Communicators The International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) is a leading association for public relations professionals. IABC has about 14,000 members in more than 100 chapters in 70 countries.

Its headquarters are located in San Francisco, California, United States.
