This guide details information on writing a television sitcom script that will make what the author calls "elephant bucks," or big money. Bull describes how to write a spec script A spec script is a "speculative" screenplay, one that the Variety slanguage dictionary defines as being "shopped or sold on the open market, as opposed to one commissioned by a studio or production company. , choosing a sitcom and story idea, structure, humor humor, according to ancient theory, any of four bodily fluids that determined man's health and temperament. Hippocrates postulated that an imbalance among the humors (blood, phlegm, black bile, and yellow bile) resulted in pain and disease, and that good health was , making connections, pitch meetings, first writing assignments, and working with agents and executives.
