Electronic filing gets passing grade.


Taxpayers who filed returns electronically experienced better service than paper filers did. While the overall score for the IRS An abbreviation for the Internal Revenue Service, a federal agency charged with the responsibility of administering and enforcing internal revenue laws.  (all taxpayers) on a 100-point national customer service index was only 51, e-filers gave the agency a score of 74.
