Electronic Waste Recycling Event to Be Held Saturday, May 19TH at The Big Fresno Fairgrounds from 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.


FRESNO Fresno (frĕz`nō), city (1990 pop. 354,202), seat of Fresno co., S central Calif.; inc. 1885. Settled in 1872 as a station on the Central Pacific RR, Fresno profited from irrigated farming as early as the 1880s. , Calif. -- Electronic Recyclers:
WHAT:    The Big Fresno Fair will hold its monthly electronic waste
         recycling event on Saturday, May 19th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

         The Big Fresno Fair and Electronic Recyclers have come
         together to provide a location for recycling broken or
         unbroken electronic waste. There is no limit on how many
         items you can bring to recycle, and it is FREE of charge.
         Electronics including cell phones and electronic plug-ins are
         accepted, electronics containing Freon are not accepted.

WHEN:    2007 Electronic Recycling Monthly Event Dates:
           -- May 19th
           -- June 30th
           -- July 28th
           -- August 25th
           -- September 15th
           -- No event in October due to the Fair
           -- November 10th
           -- December 8th

WHERE:   The Big Fresno Fairgrounds, 1121 S. Chance Avenue, Fresno,
         Ca. 93702. Enter the parking lot off of Kings Canyon
         Boulevard, just east of Chance Avenue (Gate 6).

WHY:     Electronic waste is no longer being accepted at the landfill
         and is often expensive to recycle.
