Electronic Sensor Technology Appoints Beijing R&D Technology as Exclusive Chinese Distributor for Z-Nose; Company Hopes to Build on Early Successes in Chinese Market.

NEWBURY PARK, Calif. -- Electronic Sensor Technology, Inc. (OTCBB: ESNR), a leading provider of innovative Homeland Security solutions, announced today that it has appointed Beijing R&D Technology, based in China, as its exclusive distributor for zNose(R) in the country. Under the agreement, Beijing R&D will be required to meet minimum annual purchase commitments in order to maintain exclusivity. The zNose(R) is an electronic sensor device that can capture and analyze nearly any odor, fragrance, or chemical vapor within ten seconds. Beijing R&D has already placed five orders for the product for environmental and homeland security applications.
