Electrohome announces pricing of new Vista Pro projector at Infocomm '96.


PHILADELPHIA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 13, 1996--Today at Infocomm International, Electrohome Projection Systems, a leading manufacturer of high-resolution video/data/graphics projection systems, announced their new Vista Pro high-brightness projector will carry a suggested U.S. list price of $39,995.00, plus lenses. Vista Pro will ship this fall.

The Vista Pro is the first projection system based on Texas Instruments' (TIs') three-chip Digital Light Processing(tm) (DLP (Digital Light Processing) A data projection technology from TI that produces clear, readable images on screens in lit rooms. DLP is used in all types of projection devices, from data projectors that weigh only a few pounds to large rear-projection TVs to electronic )(tm) engine. A demonstration of the Vista Pro is being held at Electrohome's Infocomm booth #641.

The Vista Pro projector -- offering 1100 ANSI lumens of brightness, accurate color reproduction, seamless imagery, digital accuracy, color uniformity and scaleability to higher resolutions -- kicks off Electrohome's new Vista(tm) series of DLP-based projectors for the professional display market.
