 Limited, today announced its newly created "Technical Services Organization", a consolidation of the company's Regional Applications Engineering, Market Development Engineering, and Service/Rework Divisions.

This group will enable Electrohome to provide higher levels of support to customers and distributors efficiently and intelligently.

The new organization will be responsible for providing applications and field service back-up In cartography, an image printed on the reverse side of a map sheet already printed on one side. Also the printing of such images.  to customers and dealers throughout the world. The division will operate a toll free technical support hot-line (1-800-221-8025) in North America North America, third largest continent (1990 est. pop. 365,000,000), c.9,400,000 sq mi (24,346,000 sq km), the northern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere.  and will service customers on a global basis through Electrohome offices in Europe, Asia and South America South America, fourth largest continent (1991 est. pop. 299,150,000), c.6,880,000 sq mi (17,819,000 sq km), the southern of the two continents of the Western Hemisphere. .

"The formation of this new organization is in direct response to Projection Systems' rapid growth," said Gerry Remers, vice president and general manager of Electrohome's Projection Systems division. "The new Technical Services Organization creates an infrastructure that allows us to more effectively service customers and dealers."

The company tapped Market Development Applications Manager Francis Zee to lead the organization. His new title is Technical Services Organization Manager. He will be responsible for directing all operations related to the new group.

"Francis has a long history of innovative and creative leadership with Electrohome," said Remers. "He is a perfect fit for this dynamic division and will ensure that we continue servicing customers and dealers at the highest possible level."

Established in 1979, Electrohome Projection Systems is one of two units comprising the Visual Communications Group of Electrohome Limited. Among its pioneering achievements are the first large-screen data projection system (1979) and the first CRT-based single-lens color data/graphics projection system (1983).
